Process engineer printed electronics

What will be your role?

Printed electronics technologies enable a next generation of devices that are extremely thin, flexible and that can even be made stretchable these days. Applications can be found for example in medical patches, smart clothes and various automotive parts. Printed electronics is however not yet standard technology and it still requires research and development. We are currently looking for an ambitious process engineer that can help us in these developments. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment. You will develop new processes and technologies are key to next generation printed electronics devices. And you will also realize various device prototypes in close collaboration with our international customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop printed electronics processes and technologies for a next generation of products.

  • Participate with expertise and take responsibility in ongoing collaborative projects with international customers

  • Interact with our industrial partners and customers on a day-to-day basis

What we expect from you

  • BSc/MSc degree in chemical technology, mechanical engineering or materials science

  • Experienced (5-10 years) in printing, dispensing, lamination, assembly and solution processing

  • Hands-on mentality, able to organize practical work in efficient and cooperative way.

  • Knowledgeable with data handling, analysis and communication of results.

  • Good communication skills in English.

The selection process

Please apply before 20 September 2022. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks.
