Holst Centre offers state-of-the-art facilities for developing wireless sensor technologies and flexible electronics. Our labs, cleanrooms and specialised workspaces support the full journey from early research to system integration and prototyping. We are located at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, a community of 150 high-tech companies and institutes, home to more than 10,000 professionals from 85 countries. Through this environment, our partners gain access not only to our equipment and expertise, but also to a rich ecosystem of technical capabilities and collaboration opportunities.

Photonics lab

State-of-the-art facility dedicated to integrated photonics research and development.

Battery Glovebox Cluster and Cycling Lab

Complete and comprehensive facilities for testing and characterisation of novel battery materials, components and technologies.

HTC 29

3D Printed Microelectronics Lab

The core of Holst Centre’s development of the novel prototype 3D Printed Microelectronics platform, used to manufacture demonstrators.

Thin-Film Electronics Clean Room

Fully equipped facility for the production and analysis of state-of-the-art prototypes based on thin-film technologies.

HTC 29

Laser Lab

This class 10000 clean room houses class-3 and class-4 laser systems to support Holst Centre’s extensive laser portfolio and versatile laser processing platforms.

HTC 29

Hybrid printed electronics lab

Multiple roll-to-roll production lines for printing, moulding, thermoforming, laminating, coating, soldering, 3D printing and laser transferring. Flexible substrates up to 30 cm wide in roll-to-roll and sheet-to-sheet modes.

Photonics lab

A dedicated facility for integrated photonics research, combining imec's chip-level expertise with TNO's laser characterisation and optical integration capabilities. This lab supports the full development chain for photonic technologies: from on-chip components to system testing for applications in connectivity, sensing and health.
